I live in VA. In 1974 My Grandmother told me how her mother was one of 3 girl that followed Whites to church as they played .later after the White's church was over, they followed them back to their village. Stating that the 3 girls went to a caved play area, over looking their village .And watched the Whites kill every Man ,Woman, Elder & even the infant babies, while they hide in the cave over looking the village. They went back months later,but the Whites had buried them in mass Graves & farmed over them. All I know is all the traits of these people and their physical appearance is the exact same as my family woman and man. We don't have African features and all and are of O blood type . Even my feet and skin resembles these people. I wish I had contacts and a way to reconnect. We have native indigenous bloodlines on both sides of my family. When I see pictures of this tribe, it's like the pictures of the people in my family.

Just an FYI to everyone. The Blackfeet Reservation currently is the most dangerous place to visit in Montana. The amount of violence that occurs in Browning, Montana is huge compared to the rest of the State, with stabbings being a super common occurrence. Also, most of the Native gangs are heavily tied in with the Cartels, this is why so many people go missing every year. I'm also a Montana native, been here for 40 years, with a large majority of my youth spent living on the Flathead Reservation (Ronan/Polson)

I miss home

My great-grandmother was a Blackfoot Indian. Some of her people came to south Louisiana to hide from the US military that we're trying to keep them on reservations. It's crazy to know that my relatives come from Montana but ended up here in south Louisiana. Other parts of my family were from France. We were called the arcadians. Are people with so strong and fierce that the leaders of France were actually scared of us. They banished us to Nova Scotia. Nova Scotiaians eventually became scared of us also. We would procreate we were strong and hard working. While we were there we became friends with a tribe called the Micmac Indians. Because of that Nova Scotia ended up banishing us from there also. We were put on boats and sent to America. My own personal family were a group of 4 brothers with their own families. They came down to south Louisiana. Everyone here hated us also. We hid and lived in the swamps. My family is saturated with history. From France to Nova Scotia in south Louisiana, and all the way down from Montana. I could write a book.

I'm Blackfoot and Cherokee from my father. I want so badly to meet my ancestors and join in celebration of our culture 😢❤
